Toby Town is Taking a "Paws"
Attention Potential New Clients:
Since COVID restrictions lifted, we have seen an unprecedented rise in the number of dogs wanting to come to Toby Town, coupled with a decline in the amount of candidates applying for jobs. As the summer months approach (the busiest in the dog care business) we need to make this effort to insure that Toby Town does not grow bigger than what we can safely and effectively manage. Therefore, we find it necessary to take a "paws" for the next few months before accepting new clients. We are saddened by having to do this, but we have to do what we feel is in the best interest of the pups who have been entrusted to us.
For the next few months there will be no Meet & Greet applications accepted. We will not be keeping a wait list at this time.
If your application has already been submitted or you are already in the process of setting up your Meet & Greet, we will honor those commitments and you will be able to complete the process. If you are an existing client with a new dog, we WILL be able to set-up a Meet & Greet for your new family member.
For all other situations, if you can wait until approximately September for a Meet & Greet appointment, please check back at this website near the end of August to see if our "New Client Registration" button has been restored, and begin the process at that time. If we can resume taking new clients sooner, we certainly will.
We are grateful to all of you who are interested in Toby Town. We are disappointed we cannot meet you sooner and are deeply sorry for this inconvenience.
We hope to have the opportunity to serve you in the Fall.

What About Spaying and Neutering?*
- DHLPP or equivalent: Protects your dog against five serious, often deadly, diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis, Lepto, Parainfluenza, Parvo (also accepted DHPP/DA2PPv)
- Rabies: Comes in one-year and three-year doses and is required by law; dogs must have an up-to-date rabies certificate to enter the facility

- Spay and neuter: Must be performed by age six months*
Why Do We Require a Meet & Greet Assessment before Our First Visit?
We need to assess every new dog to determine his or her specific needs and whether we are the right place to meet those needs. Our assessment also helps us to learn particular details that aid in placing your dog in the best activity group and in developing an enrichment plan.
My Dog is Not Feeling Well; May I Still Bring Her to Toby Town RVA?
Bacteria and parasites can be passed easily from dog to dog, so only healthy dogs should attend daycare. If your pet is showing any symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, warts, eye discharge, or rashes, please leave them home while they are contagious or until your veterinarian has approved your dog’s return to daycare.
